Hotel Piast powstał w 1897 roku,znany był niegdyś jako hotel
"U Franciszkanów".Jest jednym z najbardziej reprezentacyjnych hoteli w Słupsku.
Przez lata działalności, począwszy od XIX wieku gościł wiele znanych osobistości
ze świata polityki, nauki i sztuki.
W restauracji stanowiącej integralną część obiektu nagrywane były sceny
do kilku filmów. O przedwojennej historii hotelu wspominał w książce "Czas kobiet"
znany niemiecki historyk i pisarz Christan Graf von Krockow. W latach 90-tych
XX wieku został gruntownie odnowiony.

The Piast hotel was established in 1897 and was once known as the
"U Franciszkanów" (At the Franciscans') hotel. It is one of the most
representative hotels in Słupsk. For years of its activity, since the XIXth
century it has accommodated many well-known personages from
the world of politics, science and art.
In the restaurant, which is an integral part of the building, scenes for
some films have been shot. A well-known German historian and writer
Christian Graf von Krockow mentioned about pre-war history of the hotel
in his book "Hour of the women". In the nineties of the XXth century
the hotel was thoroughly renewed.

Stylishly preserved interior decoration and beautiful surroundings
give a unique atmosphere to this place, and make that here you can
combine work with recreation in a perfect way. The hotel in located in the middle of the centre and in historic quarter of the town, 18 km from the sea and 135 km from Gdańsk. Das Hotel Piast entstand im Jahr 1897 und war als Hotel
"Zum Franziskaner" bekannt. Es handelt sich um eines der repräsentativsten
Hotels in Słupsk (Stolp). Während seines Bestehens, beginnend im 19.
Jahrhundert, hat es viele bekannte Persönlichkeiten aus der Welt von Politik, Wissenschaft und Kunst beherbergt.
Im Restaurant, das einen integralen Teil des Objekts darstellt,
wurden Szenen zu mehreren Filmen gedreht. An die Vorkriegsgeschichte
des Hotels erinnerte in seinem Buch "Die Stunde der Frauen" der
bekannte deutsche Historiker und Schriftsteller Christian Graf von Krockow.
In den neunziger Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts wurde es grundlegend erneuert.
